Become a member of AF4WR and join the movement to protect women’s and girls’ sex-based rights!
Membership is open to Australian women who believe in the left-wing principles of collectivism, equity, sustainability and social justice as detailed in the AF4WR Manifesto.
Why join?
By joining AF4WR you will have access to a network of like-minded women with decades of campaigning and lobbying experience and expertise in various fields.
AF4WR members can:
- Take part in activism and campaign activities as part of a wider association
- Write or contribute to a range of submissions to governments
- Access our member-only section on our website (coming soon!)
- Participate in AF4WR events
- Join our sub-committees or working groups to lobby on particular issues
- Submit items for committee meeting agendas
- Request to attend committee meetings (held fortnightly)
- Nominate to become committee members.
How to join
Membership of AF4WR includes a verification process. This is to protect the privacy and safety of AF4WR members and to ensure we remain a group of left-wing women working collectively with a common purpose.
To join
- Read our Manifesto to ensure you agree with and can commit to our aims
- Fill in the membership application form
- Provide the details of 2 (two) current members of AF4WR who will verify your application. If you do not know who is a member and can refer you, please contact us at info@af4wr.org.au.
Once your membership is approved, you will be asked to pay an annual membership fee of $25. This fee contributes to the running costs and campaigning activities of AF4WR. The personal information you supply when joining is protected under the Australian Privacy Principles.
